The Pure Practice Day Retreat is a day of all things yoga and community to nourish your body and mind, and soul in the heart of London.

A day to reconnect and come home to yourself in the heart of London! This will be Nectar Yoga Retreat’s first London day retreat. Join us for a day of yoga, community and connection! This is the perfect opportunity to step away from the grind, slow down and give back to yourself.

Join us Saturday 23rd November 10:30am - 2:45pm for a day of dynamic yoga, yin yoga, sound healing and yummy plant-based lunch.

The retreat is welcome to all levels. We cannot wait to spend the day with you!


Your Teachers

Janet and Amy will be guiding you through informative and educational practices to reset & unwind from the daily hustle.

As experienced teachers, dedicated students and Nectar Founders, they bring kindness, wisdom, and humility into not just their teachings, but every conversation and interaction they have with the people and world around them.

They will both be teaching workshops exploring deeper aspects of yoga to give you new insight into your practice and yourself.

These kindred spirits create a space that is inclusive, loving, and fun and in doing so, everyone who enters their realm feels seen, valued and alive.

Location

A peaceful haven in the heart of Shoreditch.

Bali Breathwork is a light and airy space with walls draped in ivory linen curtains. With peaceful energy, decorated to create a soft heaven cocoon in the middle of London Shoreditch. The perfect place to dive deep into the practice and find balance among the yang nature of London.

You will feel immersed and at home, with neutral earthy tones to drop into the moment. The space is fully equipped with yoga mats and all yoga props so you won’t need to bring a thing!

There is a bathroom, kitchen and changing room, with some comfy lounges to chill and have a chat during the lunch break. You will feel right at home.

The space is used for workshops and teachers from different backgrounds and lineages who share the core beliefs that inclusivity is key and community is everything.


Yoga Styles

Dynamic Flow

Janet will guide you through a strong, alignment-based vinyasa practice. Through intelligent sequencing, informed alignment, and yogic wisdom, students are encouraged to slow down and experience every moment of their lives. Practice will be challenging and awakening, yet accessible for all levels.

Yin Yoga

Amy will guide you through long, slow, and deep is one way to describe yin yoga. Postures are low to the ground and are held for longer periods of time to bring stillness and restoration to the body and mind. We believe in the balance, ease, and wholeness that Yin brings to students. There will be time to rest and digest and drop into a state of deep relaxation.

Sound healing

Sound healing is the practice of using different sounds and instruments to create a deep connection with yourself, your intuition and improve your emotional well-being. Amy will guide you through sound healing sessions using pure quartz crystal singing bowls, incorporating mediation techniques, and using mantra and intention setting to allow you to dive deep into relaxation. Sound healing baths will be practiced lying down using props to support the body, offering a space to rest, unwind and heal through the frequency of sound.

 

Nourish your body

Just like yoga, a good meal nourishes all the senses and brings people together.

Communi.table will be catering the retreat providing nourishment for the body and soul, respecting seasonal produce from local farms in Kent. India is the Founder of Communi.Table, and her goal is to connect people back to the Source and back to the Soil. She believes that cooking is a life skill much forgotten, and that food is a tool for connection and community. The retreat will be vegeterian so expect delcious and nutricious salads with a vegan treat! Please let us know upon booking if you have any dietaries or allergies so we can cater for you.

10:30am - 12:15pm: Welcome & Dynamic Yoga Practice

12:15pm – 1:00pm Group Catered Brunch

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Yin Yoga

2:00pm – 2:30pm: Sound Healing Journey

2:30pm – 2:45pm: Closing

Please bring a water bottle and towel and wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
